At Carzam, we take great pride in the preparation of all our cars. From the moment they arrive at Carzam HQ, through to delivery at your door, each vehicle is subject to the highest levels of preparation to ensure that it arrives with you in the best condition possible.

Before a Carzam car can go on sale, each vehicle is carefully handpicked and sourced to our incredibly high standards. Our preparation centre welcomes car transporters with brand new stock arriving daily in an effort to bring you the best possible choice. 

Each vehicle that arrives with us is put through a thorough multi-point safety inspection check. At Carzam, we only sell cars that we would be happy to buy ourselves.

Vehicle inspection

When a vehicle arrives at Carzam HQ, our team of highly skilled professionals undertake a full inspection of the integrity of the car's chassis, mechanical components and electronic functions. This ensures that the vehicle is safe and sound from top to bottom.

Oil service

There's nothing worse than buying a car and then later discovering that it is due a costly oil change. At Carzam, if an oil change is due, we always ensure that this is carried out before being made available for sale.


Each and every one of our cars are supplied with a minimum of 6 months or more MOT cover, so that’s one less thing to worry about.

History check

Confidence in your purchase is essential. In an effort to ensure that your car is free of any nasty future surprises, we carefully conduct a thorough background history check on each and every one of our vehicles. 

This includes an HPI check which can establish if a vehicle is free from outstanding finance, or if it has been an insurance write off. All of these checks mean that you receive a car without any troublesome history. Every car at Carzam is HPI clear, guaranteed.

Professional valet

Last but by no means least, we give every car a professional valet. This is where our cars are cleaned spotlessly inside and out, ready for their arrival at your home. We want to deliver that ‘wow factor’ so each car is professionally cleaned and detailed by a member of our highly skilled valet team.

  • Do you inspect cars before they are sold and how do you prepare them?

    Every car is subjected to a rigorous set of checks prior to sale.  Firstly we ensure every car is HPI clear and has not been stolen or subject to a total loss insurance claim.  Next we complete a road test, a thorough bodywork and ramped mechanical inspection and also an MOT for cars where this is due.  We then address any issues we find to ensure the car is brought up to our standards before a full valet and quality control check.  Finally we check the car just prior to delivery to you to ensure cars arrive ready to drive and to our strict quality standards.

  • Will my used car have any scratches or dents?

    We make every effort to provide full details of any blemishes on the vehicle on our website so you can make an informed choice to purchase. However, if you do find something you are unhappy with at the time of collection or delivery then let us know straight away and we will outline the options available to you.

  • What documents come with a car I buy?

    Where this has been supplied to us as a physical document we will supply all manuals and documents relating to service history, where this does not have the personal details of a previous keeper.  Shortly after delivery or collection is complete, we will register you online as the new keeper with the DVLA, meaning you will receive a new V5 keepers document with your name and address on it within a few days.

  • Will I get a service record with a Carzam car?

    We present on our website the service record for every vehicle although this might include vehicles less than 12 months old or due their first service. We check all vehicles for any due serviceable item that is due during our preparation of the vehicle and complete any that are necessary.

  • What happens if I don't like the car when it's delivered?

    If you do find something you are unhappy with at the time of collection or delivery then let us know straight away and we will outline the options available to you.  All cars have a 14-day promise*.
